Sean C. Domnick, Esq. Elected Palm Beach County Justice Association President

PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (January 12, 2018) – Sean C. Domnick, Esq. a shareholder at Rafferty Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa in Palm Beach Gardens has been elected President of the Palm Beach County Justice Association (PBCJA), the most dynamic countywide trial lawyer organization in Florida. PBCJA is a professional association comprised of more than 500 trial attorneys who represent the plaintiff in civil cases. The elections were hosted at the Hilton West Palm Beach on January 11, 2018. Judge Jeffrey Colbath swore in Mr. Domnick as President and inducted the 2018 Board of Directors.

“Palm Beach County is home to some of the most revered and respected trial lawyers in this state. From this community, legal legends have been born, and it gives me great pride to lead an organization with such a rich history of advocacy,” stated Mr. Domnick at the induction ceremony.

Leadership is a hallmark of the firm culture at Rafferty Domnick Cunningham & Yaffa. Mr. Domnick joins his partners Fred A. Cunningham & Gregory M. Yaffa, as the third member of the firm to serve as President of PBCJA.

Mr. Domnick is also the only plaintiff attorney in Florida to serve as President of two different local trial lawyer organizations. In 1999, he served as President of the Miami Dade Trial Lawyers Association. In addition to his local service, he currently serves as Chair of the American Association for Justice (AAJ) Budget Committee, a member of the AAJ Executive Committee and has served as a Board of Director for the Florida Justice Association since 1996.

Mr. Domnick’ s dedication and leadership has earned him numerous awards from local, state and national entities including commendations for ethics, distinguished service and trial advocacy. Most notably, in 2015 he received the BJ Masterson Award, presented to an attorney for displaying the highest degree of ethical professionalism. As a Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer with a national practice devoted to representing victims of catastrophic injury, he focuses his practice on cases of medical malpractice and nursing home abuse. He has the distinct privilege of serving as a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Melvin M. Belli Society and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
