The Legal Elite process began in October when Florida Trend invited all members of the Florida Bar to provide names of Florida lawyers they hold in the highest regard or would recommend to others. The votes were tallied by an independent research firm, and a Blue Ribbon Panel of prominent lawyers selected this limited list of 1,012 lawyers who exemplify a standard of excellence in their profession.
